The hotel was fairly clean with excellent services. The location was marvellous, within walking distance of Anchor. Besides, we were adjacent to the Jurassic coast, the harbour view restaurant, and the pubs along the quay. Pleasant staff created a quiet atmosphere. The food was excellent and the bar was nice.

The location was excellent and the reason we booked the hotel. Great view from restaurant. Staff very friendly and helpful.
The room was a bit tired (the wife said tatty) and the bed certainly only a double - maybe smaller. Quite expensive but that is due to the location I guess.

The position of the hotel right on the quay side was excellent with good restaurants close by and Poole just a stones throw away.
I thought the hotel decoration was tired and the cleanliness of the room was not of a high standard. I also think that most of the staff could smile a lot more. Only one older lady on reception was cheerful and helpful.

The views from the restaurant and ease of access into Poole and along the coast. The lounge was comfortable when available, ie functions.
Disliked only having one comfortable chair in a twin room. Having to pay a carpark charge as a guest. Limited guest dinner service when a function was on.(We left without dessert and coffee offered)

This was the second time we stayed in this hotel and this time we were given a much better room for the same money.

Very good location at reasonable rates.
I did not appreciate having to pay for the hotel carpark, if I had known this previously I would have booked elsewhere as it bumped up the price of our stay. Also the bar in the hotel closed early & we were unable to get a late drink.

Location, pleasant attitude of staff
Half an hour wait at desk to check in after a long drive. Lack of Air Conditioning, unable to open windows more than a few inches. Having to cope with a half collapsed third bed in room which was eventually removed making it impossible to open the draws of unit Key card not functioning, having to walk back to reception and back Aged 87 years.

Great spot but a little noisy
Awesome view by the harbour and the room was decent. Had a good buffet breakfast in the morning. The only bummer was the noisy motorcycle rally on Tuesday nights-couldn't hear myself think! The bar area needs a bit of cleaning too, but overall, a nice stay if you can dodge the noise.

Its location on Poole Quay is great and also convenient for the town centre. The staff were very efficient and courteous but friendly at the same time. The hotel was clean and tidy throughout. We would definitely stay there again. The car park was spacious and easily accessible both from the road and the hotel. The restaurant menu and the food were good, wholesome basic food.
Whilst all hotel bar prices are high, especially a glass of wine, we thought £4.00 for a bottle of water at dinner was over the top. Next time I will ask for tap water.
